    An unusual take on charm quilts, this design by Nancy Mahoney combines multiple charm shapes in a medallion-style quilt that uses batiks. Using templates to make things easier, Nancy and host Sara Gallegos walk you through different methods for dealing with these unusual shapes.   • Cross Road to Grandma's House

    Inspired by memories of traveling to her grandmother's house on Waddington Road, Barb Eikmeier designed this quilt combining two blocks-album cross and snowball-using an on-point layout.
