"Painting and Travel with Roger & Sarah Bansemer" will instruct, enlighten and entertain you with personal insights regarding choosing a subject, importance of color, value, and feelings about putting brush to canvas, as well as a tour of the sights in the surrounding area.

  • The Buffalo

    The Bansemers take a drive through the National Bison Range near Dixon MT with incredible panoramic views and opportunities to watch the buffalo up close. Back in the studio Roger uses acrylics to paint a portrait of the powerful head of a buffalo.

  • El Galeon

  • Shore Bird Murals

  • The Antique Saloon Lantern

Take a spin on a hand carved animal for only 25 cents and listen to the Wurlitzer monster band organ. Roger paints one of the ornately decorated horses back in his studio.

    In the village of Cornucopia, Wisconsin on the shore of Lake Superior, Sarah looks into a family run wholesale and retail fish business. Next to the shops and marina there is a small museum and public park with several retired fishing boats. Roger decides to paint a wooden Gil net boat on location that is dry docked.
