Come with us as we explore and unravel the mysteries of what lies beyond our planet Earth. This is a series packed with space stories and information about our universe covering what we can see, how we can live in space and what science tells us about the past and the future as we journey inside out of space.

Episodes:

  • The Asteroids, Comets, Venus, Meteoroids, Nebula, Space Race

What do you call the masses of space rocks floating in outer space that are smaller than planets and even smaller than our moon? These are called asteroids, the small airless rocky masses that also orbit the sun. They are too small to be called planets that's why sometimes asteroids are also referred to as planetoids or minor planets.

For years, the mystery surrounding black holes have been tugging at scientists and researchers. But truthfully we have barely begun to scratch the surface with what little we know. Generally, a black hole is described as a region in space and time that has such a strong gravitational pull. So strong in fact that nothing not even light, radio waves, particles and radiation can escape it.

It is perhaps one of the most famous space missions of all time. Today let's discuss the Apollo 11 Space Mission. Apollo 11 is the first space mission that has landed the first two humans on the moon. On July 20 1969, Astronauts, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin successfully landed the Eagle Lunar Module at 20:18 UTC.

  • The Fermi Paradox, Solar Wind, Neptune, The Great Red Spot, Orbits, Donught Planets

Here's something to ponder about the existence of life as we know it. Given that there is a very high probability for intelligent life to exist beyond our planet with the observable universe having a diameter of about 90 billion light years, with galaxies numbering into billions, each of them having billions of stars as well with an estimated number of planets to be in the trillions, there's plenty of possibility for any one of these places to harbor and foster life. But the question is, where is everybody?

  • The Milky Way, Enecladus, Saturn, Tides, Eclipse, Looking into the Past

It's the star cluster that we call home. Welcome to the Milky Way galaxy. The Milky Way is a galaxy or a giant cluster of stars which our planet, the moon, the sun and the rest of the solar system belong to. Its name comes from the fact that the huge amount of stars at night appear like bands of milk in the night sky.

Imagine how astronauts float in space that's exactly what spacewalks are. A Space walk or Extravehicular activity or EVA is the term used to describe any activities that astronauts undertake in space outside any spacecraft. Spacewalks are done for a variety of reasons which include conducting experiments in space, testing out new equipment and conducting repairs on a spacecraft. The first person to do a space walk is the russian cosmonaut Alexei Leonov which he did on March 18, 1965 and lasted 10 minutes.

What's the most striking celestial object at night? It's of course the moon. The moon is a natural satellite to our earth which means it's a natural occurring object that orbits around our planet because of gravity. There are of course other moons which are natural occurring satellites to other planets. Some planets even have more than one moon like Mars and Jupiter.
